The Grange provides fine quality bed and breakfast accommodation in the lovely market town of Keswick in the English Lake District.
The Grange Country is an area of breathtaking views, serene lakes, wonderful walks and historically significant towns and villages. Originally a magnificent private residence. This Victorian house, with lovely garden, was built in 1850 and provides quality accommodation, with en-suite facilities. Many original features have been retained in the rooms. All our bedrooms are en suite and most have lovely views of the surrounding fells. Keswick, with the River Greta, flowing though its centre, provides a superb range of facilities for visitors with its award winning theatre, access to walks around the lake, two lovely parks and lots of superb cafes and restaurants, providing everything from the perfect espresso to full gastronomic menus and a good range of vegetarian, wholefood and ethnic choices too. The Grange is an ideal choice for you whether you are coming for an active adventure break or a quiet, relaxing sojourn. We look forward to welcoming you.
By car:
From the M6:
- Exit the M6 at junction 40 and take the A66 westbound, towards Keswick.
- Exit at the 1st opportunity for Keswick and you will encounter a T-junction.
- Turn left and drive about 500 metres up the hill.
- There is a right-hand turning, signposted Castlerigg Manor.
- Take this and The Grange is just a few metres down the hill on the right-hand side.

Luxury Twin Room

These bedrooms have 2 single beds (each 3 feet 6 inches / 1.07m wide). Each room is individually furnished and decorated to a high standard. They have good views over the fells and are situated on the 1st and 2nd floors.<BR><BR>Two of the twin rooms can have a super-king-size bed for stays of 3 nights or more. When there is no further availability for doubles, these rooms may be converted to double rooms.

Standard Double Room

This room is furnished and decorated to the same standard as the superior rooms, but is slightly smaller. It has a good view across to the fells and full en suite facilities.

Luxury Double Room

Rooms are situated on the 1st and 2nd floors of this lovely Victorian home. If you prefer to have a bath you will need to contact the hotel to check availability. The rooms are spacious, individually decorated and furnished to a high standard. Victorian features remain in many rooms and they all have views of the surrounding fells.
