Highfield has a multi-award-winning restaurant, magnificent lake and mountain views, and its own private car park. There are beautiful en suite rooms with DVD players. Highfield Hotel & Restaurant is in Keswick, in a quiet location amongst other hotels and homes. Keswick town centre is only several minutes' walk, where you will find the popular 'Theatre by the Lake'. Highfield's restaurant is, as of March 2010, the only hotel in the town of Keswick to have two AA Rosettes. It also holds a Visit England Breakfast Award. The views from the restaurant are so good, that in May 2007, The Times newspaper listed it in their 'Top 10 Most Scenic Restaurants'.

The restaurant has 2 AA rosette awards and is widely acclaimed in major culinary guides for its expertise. Here you can enjoy fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere, where the menu changes daily and the food is imaginatively prepared using the best local produce.

The hotel is set amongst other hotels and residential properties, and offers some magnificent lake and mountain views. For your convenience, the hotel is non-smoking throughout and has its own private car park. It is just a few minutes walk from the town centre and is within reach of Derwent Water.
By Car (from the M6):
- Take the A66 West, signposted Keswick, for about 17 miles.
- As you approach Keswick, ignore the 1st signs from the A66 and go onto the 2nd, which is at a roundabout.
- Turn left at the roundabout and go to the end of the road, and then left at the T-junction and right at the mini-roundabout, signposted Borrowdale.
- Follow this road around to the left and you will see The Heads shortly on your right.

Directions from the Central Lakes:
- You will be coming into Keswick on the A591 down a steep hill.
- Follow the road into the town until you reach the mini-roundabout.
- Turn left at the mini-roundabout, signposted Borrowdale.
- Follow this road round to the left and you will see The Heads shortly on your right.

Car Parking:
- For the car park, immediately after you turn into The Heads, turn right again behind the Hazeldene Hotel and keep going until you see the sign for our car park.

By Public Transport:
- There is a daily coach service to Keswick and we are just a few minutes walk from the local bus station.
- The nearest railway station is Penrith (16 miles) with a regular bus service to Keswick. Alternatively, we can arrange a taxi for you.
